History

On September 1, 1912 the organization of the congregation took place with 35 members.  "Trinity"  was chosen as a name and the first Church Council was elected.  A lot at Third and Brady Streets was purchased and on December 12 a large white frame building was dedicated.

In 1923 the church took on a new look, stone veneer and stained glass windows where added.  On October 10, 1923 a cornerstone laying took place.

In 1957 the congregation moved from the city to the country.  A building was purchased as a temporary church.  Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell of Clearview Farms gave a 5 acre tract and the first unit of our present church was built.  The first worship service was held on Christmas Eve 1960.

The second unit was built adding a fellowship hall, offices, and a kitchen and was dedicated on Oct. 19, 1980.

On May 5, 2002 ground was broken for "A Dwelling Place for all Generations".  One year later on May 4, 2003 a new sanctuary and Sunday school classrooms were dedicated.
