Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner
The Youth attending the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans is having a Pancake & Sausage Dinner on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. Bring your appetites. A free-will offering will be accepted for the New Orleans trip this July.
Ash Wednesday – Feb. 22
There will be two church services on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22 with imposition of ashes and communion at both. Services will be
held at 12 noon and 7:00 pm.
Bell Choir Rehearsals
Bell Choir Rehearsals will begin again on Thurs. Feb. 23 at 6:00 pm, if you are interested in joining the bell choir contact the church office or Patsy Ann Johnson.
Vacation Bible School Meeting – Mar. 13
Anyone interested in helping with Vacation Bible School this summer is invited to come to a meeting on Tues. Mar. 13 from 6 – 7 pm. This year’s theme is “Amazing Desert Journey”. If you are interested in starting a Pre-K through Kindergarten Bible School or have any questions contact Janet Flecken at 724-285-4182.
Bible Bowl – Sun. Feb. 26
This year’s Bible Bowl will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellwood City, 207 Spring Ave., Ellwood City, PA 16117 at 3:00 pm on Feb. 26. Faithful Friends is back!
We will be traveling to Mars Beads (in Mars, PA) on Saturday, March 31 for a 2 hour beading class during which we will learn about beading and make a beautiful bracelet to wear home. Cost for the session is $20. We will meet in the church parking lot at 9:30 a.m. and plan to arrive at Mars Beads at 10:00 a.m. for our class. We can decide if we want to have lunch in the Mars/Cranberry area following the class as well. It has been a long time since we enjoyed time together, so come if you can. Another new adventure!
